Abstract

In the article the interpretation of the city as space of everyday life. Shows the main approaches to the study of everyday life of the city. Everyday problem in recent decades firmly established in the field of social sciences and humanities. Depending on the areas of interest to consider various aspects of science of everyday life. We propose a typology of the main directions in the study of urban everyday life: analysis of representations of space and spatial practices of everyday and the study of cities as spaces of representations practices of everyday life. Construction of social reality in the existing picture of the world occurs largely through the prism of urban everyday life. City – the embodiment of possibilities of the human race. Sociology of the city – one of the most multifaceted and developed areas, and many, ranging from the classics to contemporary researchers from different perspectives applied to its study. Without claiming to be complete coverage of various aspects of this review, focus is on the methodological approaches exploring the city through the prism of his everyday life. In connection with this definition seems relevant specifics and priorities study everyday life and experience modern city dwellers.
