Дискурс політики «стримування»: компаративний аналіз концепцій Дж. Кеннана та В. Ліппмана

Анотація
Актуальність. Світоустрій, що склався після розпаду СРСР, нині зазнає суттєвої ревізії. На політичному обрії актуальною знову стала військова сила як інструмент досягнення зовнішньополітичних цілей. «Скриньку Пандори» на європейських теренах відчинила Російська Федерація через повномасштабну війну проти України. У цьому контексті актуально розглянути американські концепції політики «стримування», зокрема Дж. Кеннана та В. Ліппмана, що продемонстрували ефективність щодо СРСР.Мета дослідження – провести компаративне вивчення концепцій політики «стримування» Дж. Кеннана та В. Ліппмана, узагальнити їх інтелектуальний доробок і визначити його методологічну цінність в умовах сучасних збройних конфліктів.Результати. У статті здійснено спробу компаративного аналізу концепцій політики «стримування» Дж. Кеннана та В. Ліппмана, осмислено їх візію американської зовнішньої політики щодо СРСР під час холодної війни. Висновки. З’ясовано, що спочатку концепція Дж. Кеннана була спрямована на політико-економічне стримування СРСР з акцентом на очікування системних змін у самому радянському суспільстві. Згодом її трансформували в контексті доктрини Трумена (1947 р.) з акцентом на мілітаризмі.Доведено, що головним лейтмотивом критики В. Ліппманом стратегії «стримування» Дж. Кеннана була її розмитість і неспроможність чітко визначити кінцевий результат у зрозумілих часових межах. Виявлено, що в ліппманівській стратегії СРСР розглядали передусім як геополітичного суперника, а не ідеологічного конкурента.Завантаження
