Комеморація Тараса Шевченка на українських землях на рубежі ХІХ – ХХ ст. (за матеріалами «Киевской старины»)

Анотація
Актуальність теми зумовлена тим, що окремі факти й особливості започаткування традицій вшанування пам’яті Тараса Шевченка, зокрема протягом перших десятиліть після його смерті, потребують подальшого дослідження саме на рівні аналізу змісту різноманітних джерельних комплексів, серед яких особливе місце посідають матеріали періодики. Часопис «Киевская старина» на рубежі ХІХ – ХХ ст. став одним із періодичних видань, на сторінках яких досить яскраво й повно відбився початковий етап складання комеморативних практик, присвячених Т. Шевченку. Цілісний і досить показовий конволют тематичних публікацій у вигляді статей і заміток, оглядів матеріалів регіональної періодики потребує окремої уваги і спеціального поглибленого наукового вивчення. Метою дослідження є встановлення особливостей головних форм, методів і способів комеморації Тараса Шевченка на українських землях у складі двох імперій протягом кінця ХІХ – початку ХХ ст. за матеріалами публікацій на сторінках часопису «Киевская старина». Результати статті зводяться до того, що на основі аналізу тематичних матеріалів на сторінках часопису «Киевская старина» можна виокремити головні форми, способи й методи вшанування пам’яті Тараса Шевченка на українських землях рубежу двох століть. До них можуть бути віднесені видання й перевидання творів Кобзаря на шпальтах періодичного органу, публікація джерел до реконструкції біографії визначного українця, спогадів про нього сучасників, матеріалів листування з різними респондентами. Окремими способами комеморації стосовно Т. Шевченка, яким приділялась спеціальна увага редакцією видання, стали збирання й популяризація в друкованому вигляді народних переказів і легенд про поета, висвітлення особливостей вшанування його пам’яті протягом 1895 – 1906 рр. в різних частинах України у вигляді поминальних панахид, творчих літературно-мистецьких вечорів, концертів, різних заходів з популяризації його творів, а також висунення ініціатив щодо спорудження пам’ятника Тарасу Шевченку, організація збору коштів для цього та інформування широких кіл громадськості про стан справ щодо реалізації цих ідей і проєктів. Встановлено, що в часописі налічується близько 60 публікацій про Т. Шевченка, які мають комеморативний зміст. Зроблено висновки щодо вагомої ролі «Киевской старины» у процесі фіксації й поширення інформації про комеморативні практики, спрямовані на увічнення пам’яті про Тараса Шевченка на українських землях у складі двох імперій наприкінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст. Установлено значення діяльності редколегії часопису в межах цього напряму й зокрема участь в оприлюдненні таких матеріалів її очільника Володимира Науменка.Завантаження
