Як стати ученим? (до 75-річчя доктора історичних наук, професора Геннадія Кривчика)

Анотація
У статті з’ясовано й висвітлено основні віхи і окремі фрагменти життєвої та професійної біографії професора Г. Кривчика як представника дніпропетровської історичної школи і одного з відомих дослідників у галузі аграрної історії України новітнього часу. Методи дослідження: історико-хронологічний, історико-біографічний, логічний. Джерела: опубліковані й неопубліковані матеріали епістолярного і мемуарного характеру вченого, його найважливіші наукові, публіцистичні та навчальні праці, деякі публікації, а також особисті згадки і спостереження автора про нього. Основні результати. Встановлено і стисло описано найбільш примітні біографічні дати, події, факти з розмаїття життєвих картин Г. Кривчика від народження до сьогодення, показано родинні впливи на його виховання як особистості; розкрито витоки його становлення як науковця і педагога у Дніпропетровському державному університеті, простежено динаміку кар’єрного зростання на посадах завідувача кафедри у Дніпропетровському інженерно-будівельному інституті (нині – Придніпровська академія будівництва та архітектури) і Дніпропетровському національному університеті залізничного транспорту ім. академіка В. Лазаряна (нині – Український державний університет науки і технологій), які стали потужним осердям і органічною частиною його професійного життя упродовж кількох десятиліть. Зроблена спроба виявити й позначити певні мотиваційні чинники вибору ним стратегії наукових пошуків, спочатку переважно у площині соціального функціонування українського села у 1960-1980-х рр., а останнім часом – в руслі осмислення актуальних проблем етнополітичної історії України, зокрема, історичних передумов і генези формування української національної ідеї, сучасного розвитку національних відносин в країні, методології історії, філософії, політології, педагогіки вищої школи, державного управління тощо. З’ясовано загальний творчий доробок ученого у вигляді опублікованих праць, захищених дисертацій, підготовлених ним кадрів вищої кваліфікації. Висновки. Професор Г. Кривчик, розпочавши кар’єрне сходження у часи компартійного всевладдя, з відповідних світоглядних й ціннісних орієнтацій, потім пройшов досить тернистий шлях професійного самовдосконалення й теоретико-методологічного самоочищення, завдяки чому зміг створити співзвучні нашому сьогоденню інтелектуальні продукти й залишити помітний слід у фаховому середовищі Придніпров’я та України. Практичне значення. Матеріал статті може бути використаний у відповідних наукових проєктах з української історії другої половини XX – початку XXI ст., в освітньому процесі з підготовки істориків в університетах. Наукова новизна. Вперше актуалізовано й розкрито деякі найбільш виразні штрихи до інтелектуального портрета самобутнього історика. Тип статті: описова.Завантаження
