Комплекс тимчасових польових укріплень періоду російсько-турецької війни 1735–1739 років на території Нижнього Присамар’я

Анотація

У статті розглядаються польові військово-інженерні споруди, побудовані в період російсько-турецької війни 1735–1739 рр. на території Нижнього Присамар’я. Метою дослідження є вивчення питань, пов’язаних з процесами будівництва та функціонування цих об’єктів тимчасової фортифікації. Визначено, що виникнення комплексу оборонних споруд на теренах Нижнього Присамар’я відноситься до часу походу Дніпровської армії проти Кримського ханства, здійсненого в 1736 році. Встановлено, що їхнє основне призначення полягало в забезпеченні постачання армії та підтримці її комунікаційного сполучення з ретраншементом Царичанським та Українською лінією. Після закінчення походу нижньосамарські укріплення використовувалися як передові форпости на кордоні. Також показано, що починаючи з 1737 р., коли основні військові дії було перенесено на Правобережжя, а комунікаційним шляхом постачання армії замість сухопутних доріг стала р. Дніпро. Більшість фортифікаційних споруд, побудованих у пониззі р. Самара під час Кримського походу 1736 р., втратили своє первинне значення і були або залишені, або в них утримувалися незначні за чисельністю гарнізони. Виключенням став ретраншемент Усть-Самарський, який, завдяки вигідному розташуванню перед порогами р. Дніпро, використовувалося для потреб Дніпровської флотилії.
